Versatile Vicks Humidifiers

Vicks humidifiers utilize various humidifying technologies in order to cater to different preferences. For instance, the Vicks vaporizer utilizes the power of heat to produce steam which is circulated to rooms for humidification during chilly winter days. When water levels are low, the humidifier is automatically shut-down and is operational for up to 15 hours before the next filling is required. Furthermore, the heat used prevents bacteria from breeding through the elimination of even toughest forms of bacteria. Carbon electrodes used for water heating are rust-free and anti-corrosive. Also, the triple layered wall and heat-resisting caps are adapted for better and safer handling.

Vicks Humidifier Models

The Vicks Ultrasonic humidifier also uses a vibrating diaphragm to vibrate water droplets into water vapor which is then released into the air. The beauty of this system is that it can be used in a bedroom environment as it is super-quiet. Furthermore, the developed mist can also be directed onto a specific target rather than just dispersed into the air at random. This humidifier has a capacity of 1.5 gallon and can be used for a 20-hour long period before refills are needed. Nevertheless, the availability of replacement filters may be a cause for concern including the absence of an automated shut-down device when water levels are low.

Alternatively, the Vicks Cool Mist humidifier model uses a motored impeller to draw up water from its 5.7 liter tank, through its tubes and finally into a vortex chamber. Using tremendous pressure, centrifugal forces are used to break up the water into very fine yet visible mist which is then directed to humidify the room. Specially used for the relief of cold symptoms, Vicks Cool Mist humidifiers comes with a Dynafilter that aids air-cleaning, as well as removes dust and odors from the air. It is also silent at lower speeds but operates with a little more noise at the highest setting.
